Poland Admission

Most Polish institutions of higher learning admit international students twice in a year. The following are the admission intakes and application deadlines
Winter
Autumn /summer
Prospective applicants are encouraged to start enrollment procedures 3 months prior their intending intake.
DEADLINES

July of the present year is application timeline for winter intake.
November of the present year is an application timeline for Autumn/Summer intake.
It is advisable you start your application process earlier to avoid unnecessary delay over your admission offer.

 

TUITION

Tuition fees are subject to change without prior notice. Therefore, we cannot provide accurate estimate over cost of tuition; but on average, the range is usually from 2000- 5,000 Euros depending on your proposed course of study and city within which you wish to study. In many cases payments are accepted to be payable in about 2 installments. Although, first year tuition fees are usually demanded before departure.
There are numerous extra-curriculum activities you can engage in i.e Scholarships, work-study opportunities, out of which you can earn enough to support payment of your tuition and other miscellaneous expenses each year.

 

ACCOMMODATION DETAILS

In order to completely benefit the university experience, hostel or campus accommodation is highly recommended. Students enjoy powerful structured university hostel situated in cozy and sophisticated atmosphere
Rooms are accompanied with toilet, bathroom, kitchen, gym and sport facilities, internet access and other infrastructures.
Estimated costs of accommodation range from 100-150 Euros per month depending on students’ preference.
If you are planning accommodation within the university campus, it becomes essential you notify us well in advance, allowing us to make perfect arrangement with the school for a better place for you.

 

VISA DETAILS

Before applying to Embassy of the Republic of Poland for study visa, applicant must have been officially granted an admission with a letter certifying that he is being admitted to run a full-time degree course of study by a university recognized by approved accredited agency or ministry of education and science of Poland.
An official admission letter joined with educational credentials (legalized) and other supporting documentations such as bank statements and medical certificate have to be provided before Embassy of the Republic of Poland in order to be considered for visa.
Applicant must demonstrate sufficient means of subsistence denoting his ability to foot every cost associated to his studies during his entire period of stay in Poland
Visa processing time takes 3 weeks. Visa will be prolonged or extended covering your entire period of studies.
PREPARATORY COURSE

International students are expected to undertake preparatory courses in their first year at the university. The Polish language and culture class is the core of the preparatory course. The course covers Polish language lesson, culture, history and society. It enables you to adapt swiftly to new cultural and social environments.
The preparatory course lasts for one year. Upon completion, students are awarded the certificate of proficiency in Polish language.
This certificate is consequently essential for admission into a full degree program- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

 

ADMISSIONS

Poland offers almost the cheapest tuition in the entire Europe. University education is relatively cheap and quality compared with institution of higher learning in the U.S Canada, UK and many other European nations. Programs are available in variety of contexts ranging from Diploma, Certificate, Bachelor’s Degree Specialist and Master Degree PHD etc.

Admission Requirements

Admissions are open to students from any part of world regardless of race, religion, background, language and cultural in differences.
Admission is officially granted to an international applicant s without undertaking any entrance examinations.
Besides, students are admitted on the basis of their course of intent. For instance, a student that applies for Medicine is admitted to study Medicine, Law student is admitted to study Law, Engineering student is admitted to study Engineering e.t.c.
In summary, to be considered for admission, only the following are required:
BACHELOR’S DEGREE” OR FIRST CYCLE – DURATION: 3 years

Waec /Neco result consisting at least five credits including Mathematics and English legalized by Polish embassy, foreign affairs and education ministry and containing confirmation that you are entitled to apply for admission to any higher education in your home country .

  • Data page of international passport
  • Application fee
  • Health certificate stating that you are fit to study/ fit for university admission
  • Insurance or a declaration that you will get yourself insured for the time of your studies.
  • Certificate of no criminal record in your country

 

MASTER’S DEGREE/ 2nd CYCLE , duration:2years

Waec/Neco result consisting at least five credits including Mathematics and English legalized by Polish embassy, foreign affairs and education ministry.

  • Academic transcripts
  • Data page of international passport
  • Application fee
  • Health certificate stating that you are fit to study/fit for university admission
  • Insurance or a declaration that you will get yourself insured for the time of your studies .
