Canadian Secondary School Diploma

Just as the West Africa Examination Council awards certificates upon completion of the final SSCE examinations, students can now achieve an Ontario or Canadian Secondary School Diploma by completing 7 course credits, including passing the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test.

Partnering with Toronto Science Academy (TSA), an esteemed Canadian-based online secondary school catering to grades 9 through 12, Flyborder extends the chance for Nigerian secondary students to access high-quality education. Through this collaboration, students can embark on a journey towards obtaining an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) without the need to relocate or incur exorbitant tuition fees typically associated with studying abroad.

Remarkably, the comprehensive program offered by TSA and Flyborder comes at a fraction of the cost compared to pursuing OSSD in Ontario, Canada. While the average yearly tuition fees for obtaining an OSSD in Ontario range from 24,000 to 26,000 CAD, Flyborder's program offers the entire duration at just 8,500 CAD. This significant reduction in expenses opens doors for countless students who aspire to enhance their educational credentials without financial constraints.

Eligibility for the program extends to students in SS2, SS3, and recent high school graduates within the age bracket of 16 to 19 years. However, SS1 students are ineligible, and individuals above the age of 19 do not qualify for participation. As mentioned earlier, the key requirement for obtaining an OSSD is completing 7-course credits, a goal achievable through TSA's meticulously designed curriculum.

For SS2 students, the pathway to OSSD involves integrating 7 Canadian or Ontario High School course credits into their existing schedules. Similarly, SS3 students can attain OSSD by incorporating seven Canadian Secondary School course credits upon successful completion. Additionally, high school graduates can fast-track their OSSD attainment within six to seven months by completing the prescribed seven Canadian Secondary School course credits.

In essence, Flyborder's collaboration with TSA heralds a transformative opportunity for Nigerian students to access world-class education, paving the way for a brighter future filled with boundless possibilities.
